I don't know why you would bother with this.

When you shut down you're most likely leaving the computer, so press Shut down, turn off the monitor and just leave.

though it will be good when you just want to do that good old past time of restarting.

EDIT: That description sounds less complicated than I thought it would, never mind, this IS useful.

Windows Vista Home Premium comes set to 1000 milliseconds, which is the lowest recommended setting.

I've tried this a long time ago on my XP desktop. Never got it to work. Shutdown times were exactly the same. Anyone else get what I'm getting? O and I got the information from this video:

I heard about Final Cut and it sounds good, but although Windows Movie Maker sucks hairy dick, it's relatively easy to use compared to Adobe Premier and others. Just lacks in features and always crashes.

Thats all well and good until your laptop has 4 gigs of ram. it takes less time for me to save my work shut down and then restart my computer than it does for me to hibernate and resume it. Especially on battery.
