LOL THATS WUT U GET FOR BUYING IPOD NEWB ROFL HAHA

Now that that's out of the way, I love iPods. Though I've never owned a shuffle, the way I've fixed other's iPods after being dropped or what have you was to hold down the middle "select" button and the menu button at the same time. If my memory serves, you only have a middle button with a play/stop button up top. Try holding both of them down for a while (10-20 seconds) and see if that helps.

If it hasn't been a year since you bought the thing, you still have a warrenty under Apple. As long as the screen isn't cracked or it isn't obvious that you fucked it up, they'll replace it. Just say "oh it just stopped working one day".

Well, I mean the restarting of the iPod like Zane pointed out does work on larger GB models, but not your case. Does it identify when you plug it into the computer? If you have an Apple store around you, bring it into the genius bar and see what they say. Since you don't have a screen on the shuffles & nothing is cracked, get a replacement if you care for it. Other than that, take care of your bigger model.
