Default New Year's Display Issues

I turned on my PC today and found that my Display settings weren't the same. My monitor's native resolution is 1400x1050 (Westinghouse 20inch LCD screen) but now 1400x1050 isn't on the list anymore. I've been through many drivers on both nVidia's site and eVGA's site (my card is an eVGA e-GeForce 7950 GT KO) and none of them have 1400x1050. If I uninstall any video drivers I have, it will allow me to use 1400x1050 in 16bit color, but with no video drivers mind you. Are there any nVidia drivers that support 1400x1050 or do I have to get my 19inch LCD out of the closet and use that from now on because I can't get my monitor to work optimally?

Shrug, my guess would be latest drivers from nvidia site + monitor drivers = profit.

Yeah, my monitor has no drivers, came with no CD or anything. And the website has nothing either.

EDIT: My 19inch monitor had a CD with drivers (Samsung SyncMaster 912N). Could that be conflicting with my new monitor?

Potentially I guess, but it's unlikely.

I'd uninstall the drivers though.

it almost certainly could be conflicting

from the wording of your post, it sounded like it worked before. you could try rolling back the drivers.

I'm pretty sure the newer Nvidia drivers let you set a custom display mode. Try that if you haven't.
