I turned off my Router and my Modem before I went out to eat, just randomly because i'd been torrenting all day and thought it might help with the bandwidth. (I've heard that resetting the modem fixes the bandwidth). So I left, for an hour, and came home.
I plugged the modem in, followed by the router. Waited, and then tried connecting. My PC couldn't connect. Called tech support blah blah. I finally just bypassed the router, plugged into the modem, and got online.
Screamed fuck; etc etc; and tried again with the router. Frankly put. The Router won't let me on.
It flashes the 4 CPU (1/2/3/4) lights, then the Wireless light flashes. I do have 4 things plugged in, but only 2 are on, my Xbox and my PC. (my girl's PC and my family PC are offline).
Anyone have a clue what in the fuck happened, or how to fix it, maybe? I don't have money to buy a new router. And this hub I have, doesn't let more than 1 thing connect at a time...

Sounds like you might've had a router kick the bucket.

I enjoy my newer router.

On the other hand, when it breaks I fix it because I gots the knowhows.

I've heard most routers have the lifespan similar to the attention span of most goldfish at times. Networking's not my strongest suit, so I wouldn't really know.
