My signature uses a PHP file that returns a different image each time it's loaded. Many boards I regularly visit do not allow scripts to be used in the signature or avatar. I was wondering about the possibility of using a cron job to copy a random image from a folder to a file of a constant name and replace whatever's there, say, hourly, not unlike the score banners on VJarmy. How could I accomplish that (if there isn't a more efficent way)?
