So my laptop's motherboard crashed.. My mom said she got a call from Best Buy that our laptop's motherboard was the cause of our problem (it's been almost 3 weeks since it's been broken & 2 since we took it to Best Buy, who had to send it to the company themselves, HP). So I have a few questions. (BTW, I'm using a spare computer, if you're wondering)
1.) I know a bunch of stuff is going to be deleted & removed, but will anything saved in Documents be still on there (our old computer had to have its hard drive switched & it still had documents). If anything, I'm not happy about all my music & videos being gone & having to redownload my Zune software, the videos I had, & reconvert them (though I can finally redownload Encode 360 again).
2.) I didn't an answer as to WHY it got fried. Any ideas? It all started when the laptop wouldn't turn on. It'd just keep resetting. Somehow, we got the idea to remove the battery (we usually keep it plugged in) & a day later, it worked. It even made the volume controls at the top (for DVDs & stuff) work, which haven't worked for months. But then a few days later, it started to keep resetting again.
