mm there are other bottlenecks to consider. I can't think of any hard drive that can write a full hd dvd in 2 seconds. It may be possible to cache it all into ram but only like enterprise servers have enough ram to be able to hold an entire HD dvd.

im pretty sure thats the world's fastest broadband that isnt business/commercial only, because if i recall correctly OC192 is way faster than 40gbps.

edit shit nm, i was way off. but why would this be available for any single person and how the shit would you pay for it

Read the article. A Cisco employee set it up for his grandma (or mom i forget) to show that its a viable option to set up super high speeds like that for residents. She is probably paying very little if anything for the connection. She probably doesn't even use it that often seeing as she is 75
