Default Buying PC133 512mb SDRAM

Hello again, bemanistyle..

Well, I recently fried my motherboard on my HP pavilion 503n, so now I'm looking to use my backup IBM NetVista tower.. Its not a bad tower, theres one problem.. Ram.. Since I stripped the HP of EVERYTHING that could go into the IBM, I was looking forward to the ram... But the HP's was Pc2700, and the IBM for some odd reason is PC133.. ( damnit IBM )

Anyways, if anyone has any tested and working PC133 SDRAM with a memory size of 512mb, I would like for you to either post it, or message me about it ( Pictures would be nice ) Sites ask for about 45 for it.. but some sites look like crap and they are resale ram.. so, here I am.

Im willing to throw down about 30$ per each 512 module.

Thanks very much guys!

Ok, for starters, PC133 SDRAM at 512 mb is pretty rare. That ram was current back when 512 mb of ram was for gods.

2nd. GFL trying to get a NetVista with a P3 processor to run ANYTHING that actually NEEDS 512 mb of ram.

3rd. GFL trying to get a NetVista with a P3 processor to ACCEPT more than 768mb of ram.

Since 99% of the NetVista Line was running P3 processors, youre wasting your time trying to get 512 mb sticks for it. It probably wont recognize more than 256 per slot anyway.

Ahh.. But theres where your wrong..I forgot the mention, the machine is a p4 1.8ghz NetVista, and each slot can hold 512mb of PC133 ram.. and there is 3 slots.. so it can maxed out hold 1.5gigs.. Like I said, i've seen the ram online, but its like.. 50 dollars.. I wanted to see if I could get it alittle cheaper....

.... Bump ! ....

Yeah Probably not. This isnt a worldwide garage sale for computer parts. However, this website fits that discription www.ebay.com they are probably better suited to your task.

Also, totally not wrong about NetVistas being 99% P3s. 99% of them are P3s. I gut computers for a living.

Dont procede to ask me if I have the ram, I dont. All the ram goes directly into the boxes around my house all running random services.

Also forgot to mention that I got all the information off of the IBM Official site, and all the other sites i've tried also said that it can run 512 in each slot.. I was able to run WoW and Source engined games on my previous computer, and that was a 1.7ghz celeron with 512mb of ram and a 128mb PCI video card.. this one is a 1.8ghz Pentium 4 with a 256 AGP Radeon 9600Pro card, So, I have no doubt I can run up to date games on this computer with a gig of ram or so..

You can make a living just by *having* computers? This is like Jones in the Fast Lane, isn't it?

No I totally dont have anymore questions. I know alot of shit man. I have restored a bios by jtag on a regular PC. I just didnt know the NetVista line went very far into the P4 range, after that it was really all about the ThinkCenter.

And I dont need one. I have a shitload of boxes as it is.
