buying stuff from rinkya?

I'm not sure if this thread is in the right place, but does anyone have any experience using rinkya to buy stuff from japan? I occasionally find decent deals on stuff there but I am afraid to actually buy it. Do they have a lot of hidden charges? I have tried using the fee calculator on their site but I do not trust the value it gives me.
For example, if I were to buy a IIDX ASC for ~20,000 yen, according to the fees I see on their site I would expect to pay about $50 extra for shipping and handling. Is this a reasonable estimate or is it way off?

I shipped a Konami ASC from Japan about half a year ago, I think it was around $40-50. Good luck finding an ASC for 20,000 yen though.

Also, don't use Rinkya. Use Crescent Shop (CrescentShop.com) or SMJ (Shopping Mall Japan - Yahoo Japan Auction Bidding Service and Japanese Web Order Deputy!).
