Definitely be on the look out for the next week or so. You'd be surprised how stupid these crooks are (I definitely found my stolen GBASP several years ago on craigslist no more than three days after some little punk stole it)

That having been said, my sister has Max 2 US but never really plays it. I know it's a weak place to start building up your collection again, but I could see if she's interested in selling it, if that would help...?

Man, that's awful. If you'd like I can check the used game stores in my area to see if they have any of the games you want for cheap. That is, if your games don't turn up.
