Marketplace Rating: 0 | DDR Extreme (8th mix) Arcade Cabinet Full working order, all pads (Ive managed many Heavy AA's easily) and lights working (bar something with the sub lights we are trying to fix), the usual scrufs and scraps, could do with a new Decal & Banner set. (Photo had the glass screen the wrong way up so the decals are the wrong way) Had 11 hour clean out for dirt and dust resently, Can easily be upgraded to ITG2 / SuperNOVA. Good investment, add to an arcade to earn money, or just to have the real deal experience no 3rd party pad can provide.
Machine (originally) was a 3rd mix machine, running 8th mix software.
Email me for pics ( djmystic@gmail.com ), Buyer to organise & pay shipping (only downside here as I live way out)
Ive seen these go for $7k+ on ebay, but I'd be happy with even less that amount of my own currency. Offers Over $US4500 please (Paypal most likely the only option), Thanks

But since it's an original 3rd Mix machine, the banner is probably silkscreened onto the plastic and isn't removable (short of destroying it).

Maybe I should ebay this or something. lol

It's one unit. Heck, even 5th was sold as a unit. I think the only ones that weren't to my knowledge are bootleg upgrades that only gave a thin sheet of plastic with the image printed on.
Also, what Taka is asking seems very fair, since I just saw an 8th mix machine (not in very good shape, from personal experience) go for about $6500 on eBay. As for the Extreme Plus side of things... it shouldn't be that difficult to downgrade to a standard Extreme version (since those hacks only changed a few trivial things). You may find some serious bidders (i.e. operators looking for another DDR cabinet on the cheap), though please follow up here with a link to any eBay auction, just to keep people informed.
Taka, do you think you can add location/shipping options to your post? Maybe something like NAVL or Forward Air for non-local people (perhaps with a rough estimate of cost) -- probably would have to be shipped as freight, though, simply due to size/weight.

The 3rd MIX plexy banner is just far sexier tho. Quote:

If I where to keep it I was gonna save up and Upgrade it to ITG2. Im not looking for much as I did get it resonably cheap in the first place. Id just offer a lower price and first opporunity to my BemaniStyle users Quote:

Id have to find out how to ship it too, (and who would do international shipping) as is most likey have to be packaged or created in different parts. I got it in 2 parts when I received it (pads by them selfs) and the cab on a pallet. Tho this was only across the country locally, so im not sure if whoever did buy it (guessing someone in the US perhaps?) you would need to crate it for such a longer journey.
Any assistance on selling stuff on ebay would be grand (I have ebay & paypal accounts but havnt used them yet).
And for the record, I live in New Zealand.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | YEAH... um, US People, forget it :P Unless you want a ton of money in shipping + several month delay for it to make it.
Also, I did find my picture--DSCN0657--though at the moment, my computer's refusing to do much of anything, so it may be a while before I get a chance to upload it. It's a very, very, very zoomed-out picture of me holding the marquee in the middle of a warehouse.
A downgrade to EXTREME should be a simple CD swap, since the program code is the only thing that's changing. To my knowledge, CARD.DAT isn't altered at all, though I've not worked with the strange hacked upgrades. If you don't care about losing high score data (possibly), you might be able to pop in the CD and see what happens. I've done swaps before with steploader CDs, which are simply altering CARD.DAT, and then manually reflashing the card (there was a strange procedure for this, but it did work)--though that changes the edit data stored on the FLASH card. You *should* only need to change the program.
I can't give a whole lot of eBay advice, other than "create auction, let auction run" It'd work something like this, but I dunno how many NZ users are here and going to be in the market for a machine. As a rough shipping estimate, here in the US, it'd probably be somewhere between $300-500, though I'm taking a complete stab in the dark. There probably is a shipping company around you (maybe DHL, FedEx, etc.) who may be able to quote some prices, so might just be worthwhile to ask around.

Im not that far away, just a trip across the entire pacific ocean :P
Couple more pics.
Ill try and set up an auction later, who knows, crazy stuff happens there.

If it's an Extreme Plus, it won't be that difficult to downgrade it to a 5th or 4th Mix.
