Default FS: JPS2 SCPH-50000 modded with DMS3

Selling what's in the title; the PS2 is in perfect condition and boots the following -

With the DMS3 deactivated:

Original Japanese PS1 and PS2 games
Japanese region DVDs (region 1?)

With the DMS3:

Original and burned PS1/PS2 games from any region (including PAL games)
Any region DVD movies

I've had a couple people tell me they want this over the past couple months (I tried selling it a few months ago) but they all eventually flaked. I'm looking for $100 including shipping...I'd like a money order or something other than Paypal as payment. Thanks.

EDIT:

Sold and shipped to bumm!

Does it include a transformer or anything so it can be used in the US? How do you activate/de-activate the DMS3?

How's the quality of the laser? Any issues loading discs?

JPS2s don't need any special converter to be used in the US...to deactivate the DMS3 you put the PS2 into standby mode (red LED on the reset button) and turn the PS2 on by holding the eject button; continue holding it for about 5 seconds.

The laser works fine as far as I can tell. I've never had problems loading any type of media. The PS2 is a V9 so it's not very old.

Did you get my PM? Could you please accept PayPal for this one transaction (I sent you my feedback as well)?

Hey I got your PM...I've been really busy with school and work so I've not had time to reply. I really don't want to accept Paypal as I'd have to open up a new account and get it linked to my new bank account but...if I don't have anyone else that wants this after a bit I'll go ahead and get it set up. Is Paypal the only payment method you'll work with? I've just had terrible experiences with them when I sold stuff on ebay.

Themistermister: are you prepared to wait for six weeks to get a working PayPal account set up? Because that's what happened to me when I signed up for PayPal so I could complete one transaction... :english101:

OTOH, it's your decision and I've been assured mine was an exceptional case. Still, I feel obligated to warn you that it may not be as simple as it seems.

Oh yeah, and REPLY TO MY PM (or my post in the Ransai thread, etc.)!

Yeah, I think yours was an exceptional case. I created my PayPal account and had it up and running in last than an hour, and everybody else I know has also been able to set up a PayPal account just as quickly

I prefer using PayPal because of how fast and convenient it is (Compared to having to ship out a money order and wait for it to arrive, and then having to wait for you to ship it out to me; with PayPal it's instant and the only wait is for you to ship the item).

I'll see if I can send you a money order though.
