This PS2 is a champ at playing imports and burns. It is about 2.5 years old and I recently purchased a 2nd PS2 that I modded with a superior chip.
Unfortunately, I -do not- remember what kind of mod chip is in there. It plays PS2 imports, normal games, PAL/NTSC, burns, dvd movies, dvd movie burns, PS1 games, and PS1 backups. All these game types boot automatically.
The caveat is that the fan on the back of the PS2 has gotten weak. Games will still play, but the PS2 will freeze on you if it is left in a poorly ventilated location. In the worst case, you can simply order and install a new fan yourself. A product like this

would also work. It is not an issue as long as you take the proper steps to make sure your PS2 does not overheat. Besides the fan, the console is still in great condition.
This is a large (not slim) ps2. I am selling the the ps2 as is for $115 + $15 for shipping. With paypal, I can ship same/next day as payment.
