Default FS: PS2 Ltd. Edition Guitar Hero Controller

I've got one of the original cherry SG controllers for Guitar Hero. I bought it off the bay a couple of years ago and never opened it. You could only purchase these online through Red Octane for a limited amount of time. I've seen one outside of the box; they're different from the GH2 controllers (gloss finish instead of matte). Looking to get $75.00 shipped anywhere in the U.S. PM me if you're interested!

Well, they used to be highly sought after back when GH was first released. Just checked the bay, couldn't find any for sale at the moment. I purchased mine from ebay a couple of years ago for around $100.00; picked it up as a collectors item. I've looked around a few times since and I've yet to see any up for sale to determine a fair price. At $75.00 shipped I'm losing out on the deal, but I could really use the money.

AFAIK, the cherry reds were also the standard controller for the GH2 boxed set. They're really not that rare and I'd imagine you probably won't get any more for it than you would any other GH PS2 controller, as they all operate roughly the same. I spent countless hours with both the cherry and the B/W and never noticed any differences.

I made note of this in my original post. The Guitar Hero 2 Cherry SG controller is different than the original Red Octane online exclusive. I've seen both in person; the one which came with GH2 has a rough matte finish, while the Red Octane exclusive has a smooth gloss finish. It's just like the black controller which came with the original Guitar Hero, just red instead of black.

There is no difference in playability. This is strictly a collectors item and I'm selling it as such. I understand not too many people may be interested this late in the game, but I figured I'd give it a shot.
