Pop'n Controller sold!!

Hey folks, I'm moving out soon and wouldn't mind some extra funding for a trip to Japan so I'm just looking to see what else I can sell and get off my hands.

Willing to trade/trade towards the following:

Tri/quad band phones or 3G phones that work in Japan, preferably unlocked
- Would REALLY like a Sony Ericsson W810i
***I dont know much on how phones work in Japan so if you have any advise I'd appreciate it***

Cobalt Flux Pad, exactly five and a half years old now. The decals are missing because I took them off. I couldn't get used to the flatness of the pad so I took off the plexiglass and decals to just play on the sheet metal (explaining why it looks so used up). The decals themselves are in ok condition (the corners have tears from me taking them off) and the pad itself is just very old and used up. The controller box comes with it (Courtesy of GotJPEG on the forums), and it also is very chewed up, part of the wire being exposed.

ALLLLL this shit set aside, the pad still works beautifully though, so if you are looking for a cheap metal pad look no further. I'm asking for a fraction of the price. Only problem, the beast weighs like 45 pounds, so shipping is going to be a lot (I figure what, 50 dollars?), so unless its local pickup (South Florida), its going to take the right amount for me to see if its worth it to sell.

I have the original screws, plexiglass, decals, everything. The decals ARE pretty worn down though.

I have no idea what version the pad is, but I bought it in 2002 if that helps

Well, if you get a 3G phone (for instance the one you're planning on), you can use it in japan, but it'll probably be horribly expensive. There's no way to get a local SIM card for it either.

What you can do, however, is rent a phone, for instance here: Rentafone Japan - Cell phone rental in Japan, or from any number of similar services. It's a bit expensive, but if you plan on making a lot of calls, you'll definetly save money from bringing your own.
