Interest Check: Fliptop PS2 with SwapMagic

I've had my PS2 for about four years and modded it about four months ago, and since I'm looking for (and have on hold) a chip-modded PS2, I probably will not need my fliptop anymore. That said, here are the specs:

Fat PS2, v4 I believe. Modded with fliptop and includes Swap Magic discs (although for reasons unknown, my CD driver will not work in my PS2, but the DVD driver will, and all NTSC-U/C games have played fine to the best of my knowledge. At times it will not load DVDs on the first boot, but rebooting once or twice should be able to get the DVD function running-- when it was first modded, DVDs would run without question.

Another slight problem is that Mem. Card slot 1 was pushed back a bit, so either it needsto be pushed back in place or you need to tilt your memory card to the left so that it all connects. Other than that, it's in mostly good cosmetic condition and comes with all hookups, a PS2 controller, and SwapMagics with a CD case as well.

Keep in mind this is an interest check. Throw out offers if you're interested. Thanks for looking

never mind that. Katze, I don't think the CD driver works (at least not on my Playstation 2) but you are welcome to them if k//eternal doesn't buy the whole set. I do warn you they are as-is though (I do guarantee the DVD driver works though)

I can't really give you a good picture if i tried, all I can say is that the memory card door was kinda open and the door is kind of loose and is kinda in the way of the slot, but when I put it in, if it doesn't load my data the first time, I push it in to the left and it will load and usually stay in place. I'll try to take a picture of whatever you need tomorrow.

Mem card slot 2 works perfectly just so you know, but seeing as you can't really load from MC 2.... well, yeah..

Err, so the memory card just ends up in a funny position, right? I guess the position is what I want to see, but I'm not sure if it helps.

Anyway I'll see if I can scrounge up some funds and maybe get some others around the dorm to pitch in... college makes one a tad poorer, etc.

see i stopped myself from doing that because it seems to not only piss you off (Stop! I know this! I've been...etc) but it's kind of like a fad on this forum, like jme, fubmede, and col dot durf, not to mention whatever else becomes a typo on IRC.

Oh and also the fact that posting it outside of FB is an infraction.

See, but why would you want to do that? I mean you know that your name means [what it means]. Hell, there was a thread about it on [a place].

Anyway, yeah, we have 6 metal pads here and no PS2, so we're kinda looking into obtaining one somehow.

Rebump for two reasons:

1) I failed to mention that when I initially put the magnet in the PS2 fliptop, it stayed but it started to make some sort of scratching noise when I first played on it. When I took it out, the part that holds the magnet broke off, so the magnet spins freely, but this does not affect the playability of the console in any way, as for the last 4-5 months since I've played this console, it's loaded games fine.

2) I have a video of me loading a Disgaea 2 copy, as well as two photos of the PS2. Odd thing is when it went to load, it loaded. Sometimes it doesn't and I have to push the mem card back, but it decided to load, so....all the better I guess.

EDIT: I will probably put the pics up tomorrow; if anyone needs me to put up the video I will...

It sucks, doesn't it? I've been sick with two different things so it's absolute torture on my wallet. $25 at the damn pharmacy, and that's -after- buying the generic versions of everything.

College blows (financially). Good luck selling the flip-top, I'm still trying to sell my own damn JPS2.

Oh, on topic, you say that the CD-Driver won't load? I fail to see mention that you can boot CD discs (I.E. blue bottom PS2 games), you mention that all NTSC-U games boot, does this include "blue-bottoms"?
