Intrest Check: DD marquee

I don't currently have the funding for a DistorteD marquee, but I am trying to save up to buy one, and I'd like to know about how much they would run me, if anyone who's selling would like to help, it'd be appriciated

Wait until GOLD comes up. This will be really hard to find since the marquee comes with the machine/upgrade kit, and since it is the newest, people will keep it on the machine. Wait until after the GOLD release comes out, then go on Yahoo Japan auctions and look for it there. When DD was released HS stuff was all over it, and probabaly most of the others were te same. If you run into the "(seller will not ship internationally)" which will happen, you can use Rinkya to make the purchase.

Yeah that's what I was thinking....we'll probably get a lot of DistorteD's in the US because GOLD runs on new hardware, so that might help me get there

Well that means the value of all the other IIDX's will drop beacuse a newer system is on the market. I think its time for IIDX to start hitting US arcades for real.

Gold's hardware requires the current BemaniPC hardware to run, so don't expect to see an influx of BemaniPCs in America, Gold is a harware upgrade, not new hardware to an extent.

I know that, but knowing Japan, a very large portion of the arcades will be ditching the 9th style-DD PC and upgrading to the GOLD one; that means all the 9th-DD PC's have to go somewhere, right? (even though there are only a handful of IIDX's in america, let alone 9th+ machines)
