Marketplace Rating: 0 | [for Sale] J-ps2 - Sakura Limited Edition Scph 50000sa For sale is my beloved but underused Sakura colored Japanese PS2. Purchased in Japan last August (19th), it was mainly a showpiece in my game collection, and was barely used. I counted 4 times. Racecars are expensive, so it's come to the point where i can't own things like this anymore. A fuller description and pics can be found at the ebay auction below. Make me a good offer, and I'll take it down from eBay, or buy it through ebay. Don't hesitate to PM me if you have any questions. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=170012740320

Marketplace Rating: 0 | well, apparently someone does think it's worth that much. but upon closer inspection, this person has a feedback rating of zero. so now we play the waiting game.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | Last August when I was buying a JPS2, the Sakura one was around $450, and now I'm sure it's even worth more, if that helps at all.

Marketplace Rating: 14 | Oh, I would have never guessed a Japanese PS2 would be so high just because of the color and rarity. I've seen it go for far less which is why I was saying it's alot of money.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | I know you have. You've PM'ed me, and I've rejected your offer, twice now. I might as well say here what I just PM'ed you:
If you want a J-PS2 for $200 and don't want to pay out the nose because of a different coloured outer shell or limited edition designation, buy a black one, this isn't for you.
Regardless of whatever I originally paid for it, I'm selling it for the amount it's worth to me. Given the rarity of the item, its selling history in North America, and my personal emotional attatchment to the item, which I won't get into here, it's definitely worth over $300 to me. If it isn't to anyone else, that's fine, I'll keep it. I have other ways of making money. If there isn't a bid on it in the last 12 hours, I will pull the auction because it would kill me to see it go for $250.
There is a market for this item for the price I hope to sell it for, albeit a small one, and that's who I'm trying to sell to. The same people who used to buy these off Play-Asia for $400 are the same people I'm targeting. If they don't exist anymore, I'll just have to enjoy the company of my PS2 for many more years to come.
For the love of god, no more thread crapping, saying how much you don't think it's worth it, and no more lowball offers. Please. | |

Marketplace Rating: 0 | No one else gives a crap if you have "personal emotional attachment" to your ps2 and think its worth more because of that. If you're that attached to your PS2, just keep it. Don't try to sell it off or use the fact that you have a "special history" with it to raise the price on it.
I wouldn't buy a black one because I don't NEED it, I just want one. I like the metallic sakura color this comes in, so why not kill two birds with one stone. I really don't like the idea of having two plain PS2's sitting right next to each other.
Either way If you have other ways of making money, use those instead. That way, you keep your PS2, you get your money in the end through other means, and then, you get people like me who offered a price since you never specified one, off your back.
EDIT - Oh look, someone bought it for $400. Unfortunately, he has 0 feedback. Are you gonna re-list it again because of what happened last time? =P
