WTB: DrumMania Set (Stand only)

But just realized that it doesn't come with a freaking stand. Does anyone have one that they're willing to sell?

you can get creative and make your own out of some wood, or stuff lying around the house. I did that to make a DDR bar (I used a card table chair, a mini trampoline, duct tape, a poker table, and some weights to make my DDR bar).

Wow dude. Seeing that just totally made my day. I think this deserves an award.

Well I don't have a DM set. But I can easily say you could be better off doing what he did and making one. Cause I have no idea how you can find a stand on it's own.

Go to a store that sells music equipment like a Guitar Center or something and look around.

I figured that the DrumMania stand was specially made. I'll try that though.

I don't feel like making my own, because usually any woodwork or welding that I do ends up a miserable failure. >.>

I'm sure you could use some PVC pipe if needed. Just fill the pipes to weigh them down, and use a rubber hammer and glue to keep it all together.

Or, just get a keyboard stand from Guitar Center. The cheapest ones you'll find are about $20. It won't work perfectly since it'll sit flat, and it might move around due to it being a lot smaller than a regular keyboard, but like everyone else says, get creative and you can get around that.

The thing about grabbing a keyboard stand is that they don't really provide much as far as stationing the controller. I can imagine if you were to just throw the controller on the stand you'd have a hell of a time playing. The DM stands are a bit unique in that they come with these clips that connect to the bottom of the controller. But before they are on the controller they are attached to the stand (or something like that anyways, I think there were two parts to the two clips).

I already have a keyboard stand, I think I'll be able to figure something out. It would be nice to have the real thing though.

Why don't they include stands anymore?!

to make more profit, people expect to have the stand included. Then they find there is none. So now you get pissed, and have to find one from a store, or the one that goes with this one.
