WTB JP PS2 + IIDX

I have a modded ps2, but it freezes alot, so I want to just go a head and get a JP PS2. I need to wait untill my stimulus check gets in, but If anyone has any offers or prices go ahead and let me know.

Hopefully the check will arive in June, if not, Ill get some money by July.

yea np i <3 this community, especially the marketplace, at first i was scared i was gonna be ripped off but ive sold and bought plenty of things and the entire time it was always nice people :]

oh which reminds me im selling my jps2, its modded but only the a flip top mod, which is a good thing cause sometimes the tray doesnt come out unless you jiggle it but theres no need since its got a flip top hehe, works fine and everything, never had a problem, its got a crack in the top but thats only the body from when the flip top got installed, im looking for 150 shipped, comes with cables, memory card, and a controller, and i have an IIDX KOC if you wanna buy that and.... lets just say some IIDX games that will work with swap magic (although those dont always like to work at 100% effeciency if you know what i mean). i could be swayed for around 220 :O

If you'd like I can check some of the stores around here for used PS2s. Getting anything used in Japan is almost like getting it new and the exchange rate is somewhat favorable for you at the moment, although I have no idea what it will be like in June. I'll check around and get you some prices. I'll check for IIDX games while I'm at it but if you want anything else let me know.

Thanks Penguin man. Let me know. All I really need are those. I dont want to get a modded ps2, and I have a friend who can get me all the modded ps2 games I want, Im trying to get a real set up, since the modded set up tends to stop on very specific songs for some reason.

OK, here's what I got at the moment:
I found some used fat PS2s. There's a blue one worth about 12,600 yen (about $120 or so), a silver one for $115, and a regular black one for $110. For IIDX games, so far I've found 3rd Style used for $20, 5th Style (supposedly rare) used for $37, and 6th used for $24. New games like Gold are probably going to run you around $60-70. There are still a couple other stores I can check, but that's what I found the other day.

One of the stores near here has a bunch of IIDX games for sale, all used though. They should be OK though. The price I list here will be enough to cover shipping and paypal fees. Remember I listed 3rd and 6th's prices in my earlier post.
