WTB Pop'n Music arcade machine and Taiko no Tatsujin

Hi all, need to get my hands on a couple machines for a photo sticker store in Los Angeles. I'm open to most versions but looking for units in very good condition.

Btw, anyone ever purchased from the chinese distributors Coinopexpress or ChannelBeat i'm interested in using them if anyone has any info please let me know. Where is the best place to buy these machines?

coinopexpress and channelbeat are your best bets for these sorts of things. occasionally, people will be selling them through here or ebay, but for taiko and popn especially you'll have a hard time.

anything that channelbeat lists their availability as "please ask" means they don't have any and aren't sure when they will. both are a little pricey but overall it's the most reliable place to buy either.

you might want to check through the last 2 or 3 pages in the marketplace but like i said, popn and taiko are less likely to be for sale.

if you plan on buying an old version and updating it (especially for popn) make sure to get all your information before doing it as i know at least in the case of popn there were hardware changes that make certain upgrades impossible

For Pop'n, I would suggest Yahoo Auctions Japan. You're likely to get a better price than CB or COE. As far as version, if possible I would go for a Pop'n Adventure cabinet (there was a hardware upgrade that was pretty expensive between Pop'n 14 and Pop'n 15) if you plan on being current past 14 in the future few mixes (i.e. until/if they do another hardware upgrade). There is also someone else who may have Adventure or lower-mix Pop'n cabinets for sale; what are you thinking of paying for one?
