I don't see myself using an HD Loader and that's the only real reason I'd wanted a fat one.
The slim one looks nice, anyway.

I have a basically new Slim one that I modded using MagicKeys.

Unfortunately I lost one of them so I had to use a bit of tissue to hold the disc break, and the Front key's loose, so I have to push it down to make sure it's where it should be.

Works perfectly, plays all games well, even some that my older Fat PS2 doesn't play.

Honestly I just want to sell it and import the SCPH-90000 or something

I don't know if it's just my friend's 'cause he leaves his on overnight a lot, but his slim PS2 is shit. D: It freezes and explodes like everyday.

I've owned 2 slim PS2s and they both were like tanks; I left one of them on for like 8 days in a stuffy room once and it was fine.
Your friend must have bad luck.
