WTS: Black Nintendo DS Lite + 4 games
Agreed on $110 for the DS Lite, and I paid. Zane said he's ship it from work, and later told me that for some reason they hadn't shipped it out at his workplace. He then told me he'd ship it himself right away.
Somewhere during this conversation he mentioned that he wanted a DS again. This did not exactly fill me with confidence, but whatever. I havn't been able to catch him on AIM again since, which grew more worrisome as the days wore on (it's been about three and a half weeks since my payment). Might have been unfortunate coincidence, but eh.
SO ANYWAY, today I woke up to find that Zane had sent me $106 over paypal. No message attached, but it's pretty obvious that it's a kinda refund. Rather than refund me what I paid he subtracted the paypal fee (which I got charged again when he sent it to me, hi5).
I'm assuming he "sold" stuff to make rent, then refunded the money at his convenience so he could keep his stuff. Maybe that's a fairly cynical way of looking at the situation, but until I'm convinced otherwise, he was looking for a loan, not a sale.
Needless to say, I'm unimpressed. Nothing says A++ seller like sending a refund $7 short (after my fees), 25 days later. Granted I did get about 95% of my money back, but I'm obviously not very happy about losing $7 and wasting a few weeks waiting for it to come in the mail. Especially since someone on sows was selling theirs for $65 but I passed it up because mine was supposedly in the mail. :/
