3rd style CS question

Does anyone know how to access the speed mods on 3rd style?
The songs seem a little slow...and I was wondering if it was possible to speed it up.

It is fine if it is not possible, but it still annoys me for some reason...

I think on the menu when you have Arcade mode or Freemode or w/e highlighted, you hit select to bring up options.

iirc, speedmods are applied only when you start the game, and not during song select.

incorrect

for free mode in the screen before the song selection choose the second item called "select play" and toggle the bottom option

for arcade and expert mode press select while in the "mode select" screen which is before you access the song roster

scroll over to the speed setting

press either white or black keys to change the speed

press select again to exit the options setting and continue to the song selection
