Total Tokens: 178.67 Donate Tokens | Acrade 7th Style vs Troopers I've been playing Beatmania IIDX 7th Style at my local arcade every day. However, i've noticed that the turn table is closer to the keypad on this arcade machine than it is on the IDDX DJ Troopers machine which is right next to it ( i play IIDX 7th style cause it's cheaper and i'm still a newbie). I'm currently around a level 6 to 7 player on 7th Style.
I'm worried because i use my pinky to scratch with my index or middle fingers to hit keys assuming i have to do both at once. Yet i see the DJ Troopers players using their pinky to scratch while they use their thumb and index. I'm worried i'm learning the game incorrectly =[.
What should i do? I dream of being able to beat level 12 songs some day.

about the disc being far from the buttons, just start playing on the troopers machine and i'm sure you'll find a way to work around the problem and adjust yourself. there's unfortunately no "easy solution".

Either that, or the arcade worked on the machine and moved the turntable over somehow. Could you take pictures of the machines next time that you are there? It'd be cool if it was a standard II cab.

The Beatmania II cab is the rare non deluxe version which looks like a beatmania cab, but wider, and includes the 2 extra beatmania keys. (See the 6th style CS videos on youtube if you want to see a BMII cab).

Although not as eye-catching, they're much more affordable, meaning we'd probably see more of IIDX in the US...minus the DX. It's the music and charts that count, after all, not that I get to play with effectors while standing on a giant subwoofer.
What arcade is this anyways? I don't know of more than 4 DJT machines in America (3 if you're deepbluevibes and don't count Hawaii) Quote:
