The akward stance of IIDX players

So, I've noticed that lately when i go with my friends to AI, and i watch people playing, most everyone has some strange stance. they either have their legs spread like their ready to take it, spread to the sides, or one leg in front of the other. some even have their knees bent when they do it. i know its because they're tall and the game is lowered, but it looks hilarious. i've had discussions about it before and it cracks me up all the time.

SO what was the point of this thread again? Yeah we are too tall for machines that's why people have weird stances. I much prefer sitting on a stool.

I arch my back all weird-like, have one foot behind the stage, and snarl if I'm doing a harder song. I've been told I snarl while I play, especially on dancing games.

yeah. there may not be much of a point. its for my own amusement. anyways, there's one guy i've seen that's really, incredibly good, and his bottom eyelids twitch to the beat of the song. its crazy, but i guess erveryone has their own little quirks

Playing IIDX already makes some people think "what a weirdo, he's too good", so I think sitting looks most normal. At my arcade, people just look weird with their legs spread while standing.

thats what i say! lol its like i guess you get so caught up in the song you don't realize that you look like you're about to take it from someone but i just dont get the people i see play i don't get how they could be that good anyways but i give them brownie points for having ninja fingers like that. i make jokes a lot about the guys and how if they have girlfriends, the girls must love them haha
