I was thinking of using an old DJ Man controller (knockoff beatmania I controller) but it seems so terrible inside that it looks garbage.
Anyone do it, and how tough was it? I've just finished building my own arcade stick, but this seems more complicated.
Also, are the OBSA-45UK keys the same as the arcade keys (OBSA-45UK-K/W-LEDR and OBSA-45UK-W-LEDR) but just without LEDs???

Thanks for anyone that can contribute to this thread.

I was just wondering what buttons to buy, because if they are identical except for colour and lighting, I can save a lot of money...

Though, I'm not sure if this can be done on a KOC (as the microswitches and its housing may not fit in the keypad bay).

Here's a video of me playing Silvia Drive another on his controller. (Note I've never really played with the turntable on the left side in my life :G and also that he is making me laugh uncontrollably for most of the video)

how much did your buttons/other materials cost, and where did you get them?

Total Tokens: 1,162,229.47 Donate Tokens | Yeah, forgot to mention, its not just tape holding that box on, There's plenty of hot glue under there
I got the buttons aaages ago, from Controllica, I think they cost around $50, but unfortunately they dont sell them alone anymore (I just ripped them out of my old ASC attempt). They're not that nice, but are better than sticking KOC keys. For the box I just used some scrap MDF, that's why I covered it in tape, it looked really scruffy XD
Misc things like spade clips, solder and wire didn't cost a lot.
