Default Append 5th Mix and Gottamix 2 Question.

I have a question about unlocking the bonus edit data in these two games. I know there are certain criteria you have to meet in order for the bonus edit songs to appear in the game (without having to change discs). After searching Gamefaqs and the rest of the Internets, the explanations given to unlock are either really vague or simply wrong. Does anybody know a sure-fire way to unlock the bonus songs? I have already completely unlocked Append 4th Mix without a problem. Here are some specific details...

Append 5th Mix: According to the Records screen I still have two hidden courses (Course: ???) and something simply called "???" whatever that is. I have beaten all of the available courses I have so far and I also have cleared Hard mode 20+ times. To get the bonus songs you need to open up the Bonus Edit Course. I just don't know how to unlock it.

Gottamix 2: I can't get the last 2 courses to unlock (classic course, and another course) in which have the bonus edit songs. I have cleared the game on Normal mode a few times and have also cleared every course so far. How do I get these to appear? As a random side question to this game.... How do you access the Hard Version for the song "In Da Park" ? It doesn't appear in the song selection screen and also it doesn't show up in any courses.

I really appreciate any advice I can get on this. Its frustrating seeing all those little "???" boxes in Training mode! Thank you!

For 5th mix, play every song in arcade mode, then play the existing courses to unlock the Slake course (or was that Nagureo?), and after that, another course.

I assume passing that last course will unlock bonus edit, but I've never passed it.

For Gottamix 2, the easiest way I think is to get really lucky with random select and hope it picks a song you haven't yet played. That's what worked for me.

I thought you could play the bonus edit songs if you swap to those mixes from 3rd mix

I remember something with bonus edits on games and bm3rd mix

oh and you have to start with the original beatmania disc to start the process

beatmania > 3rd mix > 5th or gotta

Yeah thats the traditional way of getting to the bonus data. However, there is a way in each game to simply unlock the songs in the normal mix without having to swap anything.

As an update on my progress, I got the bonus to open in Gottamix 2! Thats all set, however I am still stuck on 5th Mix, I have played every song in arcade mode and also have opened up every course except the bonus course. I beat all the courses so far. The only exception is the Another Course in which I beat using 2P just to see if the Bonus Course would open if I completed it. Anyone have any other methods to unlock the Bonus Edit mode?
