I struggled at first but am starting to get better, but I am limited on play between a friend's controller and the rare chance I end up at an arcade that has the game, so I figured I would either buy a USKOC like he has, or build my own for use on my computer and on my PS2.
I have built custom controllers before, so I am leaning more towards this option, and I would be able to make a true arcade style without shelling out upwards of 300 dollars. The only problem I run into is finding a turntable that is the arcade size, would anyone know of any place to find this part? I looked throughout the forum and I have searched my usual arcade parts sites in search, and none of them carry the part.

I have already factored it all in, and total (assuming the turntable isn't ridiculous), I should be able to build a nice controller for about 100, which is what I put into my arcade joystick. My concern now is finding a turntable that is arcade size, not the one that comes with the KOC controller.
An idea I have now is just buying a turntable used, like an actual Technic deck, and then ripping the turntable and remounting it.

Also, the controller will get really heavy if you do that

I found a Numark aluminum platter that would look extremely nice, despite the fact it is not the official size for an arcade setup. I guess I will just see if anybody can post somewhere I can get the arcade turntable and if not just grab the numark for the 20 dollars hes asking and just mod that to work.

You should just go with what everyone else said, go to the places that sell the ASC controllers, and ask them if they can sell you parts. I know for a fact DJ DAO does sell parts for turntables.

if u want to retain the arcade feeling then i think you should just stick with the konami ASC TT dimensions
