Thank you so much for this thread. I've been wondering who uses what.
This thread should be stickied right now.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | I know L.E.D. has mentioned the use of VIRUS sythesizers, but I'm unsure of which model he specifically uses. Access Music | The Virus | Totally Integrated Synthesizers
I believe it might've been the VIRUS Classic, since this was mentioned a while ago.
btw, this thread is already awesome.
Is anyone aware of what tools / software the IIDX VJs use? | |

His equipment (at the time) was listed in the DDRMAXUS instruction booklet.
Which uh... he only mentions having a SIRIUS synth, and using Logic Platinum 5.
LED states in it that 90% of his songs are made using Cubase for sequencing, Pro Tools for recording. And for synths, he has a Nova by Novation, NIRUS by Access, and A50000 by Yamaha (is that a typo? o_O)
TAKA only mentions using Logic and Pro Tools
Shoichiro Hirata (SHO-T) uses Logic Audio, along with many synths, stating his favourite is the MIDI MINI.
TOGO also mentions just using Logic, and using whatever instruments meet the demands for the song he's making.
Also, I remember hearing kors k using "Nuendo" and Reason for some of his works.
