ATTN Piano Players

I figure quite a bunch of IIDX players also play piano (I mean the controller looks like a keyboard anyway) so...

I made sheet music for Quasar. Please comment and tell me what I can fix. Also post a video of you playing it if you can!

I figured you piano players would figure out when to let go of the pedal and more in-depth dynamics (I play piano too but I moved so I don't have one anymore) so I didn't really bother.

You need Finale Notepad to open this. You can get it at finalemusic.com but you need to register first or something. If you don't want it from there google it. I used the 2003 version.

First things first...great job on taking the step to make a piano arrangement of a iidx song. I've only heard two of them (Absolute, Zenius-I-Vanisher) so far.

I think for a piano arrangement of such a song, you might want to put more creativity into it. The left hand sounds very plain and bland on the piano. The right hand is only playing the melody, which I'm sure it can do a bit more than that (possibly something to define the chords a bit more).

So I listened to it. Yea, it was pretty boring, and I think you got alot of the notes wrong. (that part that was supposed to be the synth run, sounded all completely wrong to me :S). I'm gonna try to make one myself tonight maybe. We'll see.

I think adding pedal may make it sound better. The right hand, I really did what Finale Notepad let me do. There were some things I wanted to do but couldn't (ex: having a whole note on one note and two half notes on different notes) so...

pedal will definitely help, but it'll still sound kinda plain. you can definitely do more with the music than just quarter notes.
