beatmania 10th style ps2 help, surround off?

How do you turn "surround 3" off ingame for 10th mix ps2?
I first noticed the sounds of the song were very echoey like in an auditorium. I tried 9th mix and it sounded normal.

During a song, i noticed a lighted bar on screen at the bottom middle of the screen that says "surround 3". I have no idea how i turned on this option and how to turn it off.


Any help please?

Just press select, remember to hold it for a second while in the song. it should turn to Effector Off and that's it

Hold the select button, turn the turntable once, then release the select button.

You don't need to spin the turntable.

To clarify, holding Select cycles through the available effectors. You don't need to do anything else.
