Unhappy Beatmania Home controllers, are these things still being made?

I recently ordered beatmania+Controller bundle off ebay
however i'm a touchy, and very very paranoid about my things, if the controller were to break, where the hell can i find a replacement?

all of the places i've checked, play-asia, ect has these things listed as "out of print" or "Out of stock" but seeing as reviews left on the site date from 2007 i'm starting to think these things aren't even made anymore

scold me, for not reading the Faq, call me whatever you'd like
but i want this answered
Do they still make these controllers?
if so how long does it usually take for stock to arrive?

yes i know i can get these things off ebay, however ebay's supply will run thin if these things aren't being made anymore

Well, failing the official controllers, you could always purchase a DJ Dao, which are much better. DJdao BEMANI ASC-Product List

That controller you got with the bundle (KOC) definatly won't break, especially if you're just starting out

Yeah, by the time it breaks, you'll be good enough that you'll find the KOC keys annoying...

Funny enough I've done the same thing to my USKOC and put a hole right through the PCB. Just don't apply excessive force to the controller and it should be alright.

that must have been one hell of a punch lol. i do the same with my dual shock controllers on DDR, so i went out and bought a Nerf Controller, yay, so i can through it and it won't break. Someone should make some nerf armor for a IIDX KOC

i don't think they make USKOCs anymore, but since they're still putting out new japanese iidx console releases, i think they'll keep making the JPKOC which you can get from play-asia.com

but yeah, general advice: don't hit your controller harder than is reasonable to register a key press, don't step on it, don't get it wet, etc. =P

The NA "Beatmania" has gone discontinued a while ago. So if you see it in stores, scoop it up, because they are not in production...

JKOCs are pretty resilient I've found. Mine has been thrown a couple times in the 5 years I've had it and nothing ever broke.

my controller has taken me throwing it at a wall... it wont break, trust me. Also people will sometimes sell one on the marketplace, so I would not worry. Only thing you will have to worry about is getting used to the game, and breaking in the turntable, as mine, and others seemed to stick when you tried to turn it, however after some use, it will turn very smoothly.

Same for me , the TT ( USKOC ) was a little bit hard at the begining , but now it's ok

The KOC is a really good pad ( i mean , compared to the flat DDR Pad wich is provide with DDR games )
