You should be at 97 if you don't have Unicorn Tail and Bad Maniacs unlocked. There are only 99 songs on the disc. As for BitL -FWF Mix- and EED...well yeah, I'm sure the other guys clarified that point.

because every single time I've played Standard I've gotten EMPRESS PLACE, regardless of difficulties or grades

Nope, I played and cleared all TROOPERS songs on PB, and that didn't immediately get me troopers journey.

However, I did unlock it a few rounds later, don't know why, probably a song I played.

Don't stress you'll get it eventually. The unlock will mean more if you had to work for it anyway :p

And if that doesn't mean jack to you, I'm pretty sure konami will release an unlock code in a week or two.

will it work with sunshine hero, smoooch, fb90s, or shining polaris kors k mix? or does kors k have to be the original composer?

As I understand it it just needs to be a kors k song, shining polaris remix should work. Another, Hard Clear, AA.

If you can't AA a Kors K song on another then I'm pretty sure you don't need to be playing bad maniacs.

EDIT: Let me justify myself here. Normals haven't had good charts since around 6th-7th, hypers have been terrible since HS, and the another is one of under 20 charts in SP IIDX that I haven't AAd. It's also roughly as hard (if not harder) to pass as OML or scorp as I've only border cleared it once, every other try has been a failing score. The hyper is not that easy of a 10 if you're looking to play that, so not being able to AA an easy 10 like flashback 90s will not fare well for you when you try bad maniacs and it seems more of a 250BPM style 10 than a MAX LOVE style 10.

UPDATE:

It has finally been completed: I have here a IIDX16 full unlock save. The scores are cleared and the settings are factory default for widescreen (as if you were to keep pressing white throughout the initial settings).

EVERYTHING has been unlocked:

Songs
Customization options
Archive & Gallery
Single and Double ｢黒Ａ｣ charts

FULLY UNLOCKED SAVE

The zip contains the same save in 9 differen ps2 save formats, including raw files.
