Well, have fun with that. Supposing you take 2 minutes per song and you unlock an archive image on every try (which wouldn't be the case anyway) it'll take you around 1400 minutes, or just about 24 hours. Even with the hazard method, it took me a solid 4 hours.

Yeah I initially thought I'd go through archives and do it all legit but it really didn't take me long at all to realize it was a fucking horrible idea.

I've been at it for a couple days with the HZD method, with breaks in between of actual play. I've already gone through just about every another, so I'll do every hyper, and then I'll go through and HZD the light7s one at a time for the rest of the pictures.

So far I'm up to Happy Sky :|

Missing one BGM, the one after empress palace/before dj troopers. Which one is that?

It's the Extra Stage BGM, you just have to play Programmed World for it.

I think it requires a clear to get the BGM (As I didn't clear the Another when I first tried and I remember clearing the Hyper because of that).

I think you just need to obtain it since it'll play once it gives you the option to play Programmed World. I'd like to know why Konami didn't allow us to chose the Extra BGM in DJ Trooper.

Well, got the 8th Style pics. Just need to get the Expert pic for tomorrow & I'll have gotten all the pics I'll be able to get on Empress.

man this archives mode is taking FOREVER to go through just for one song, i just got Back Into the Light and EraserEngine yesterday and Im still having a hard time trying to get through it for Bad Maniacs, they need to release that code out pronto

I think it is because on the Premium Best disc you cant use Start+Select to cue the EX Select Music BGA+BGM. They opted to make EXTRA a selectable BGM to make it so all possible BGMs are accessible to both discs, in all likelyhood.

If you mean that you need to get Programmed World as an Extra Stage, I can fully confirm that that isn't necessary (though I thought it would be). Also, like Empathy said, you could use Start + Select when entering the Free Mode song select to get the music and background, so having it selectable wouldn't be necessary.

Yeah, I know that (it works on most styles. It's how you get into the ES rooms in Free), but it's kind of annoying doing that every single time you want to hear it. But it's not that big of a deal. Just something I was wondering.

Seeing as Konami didn't update the special site last week, perhaps they'll update it this week w/ info about Bad Maniacs? I mean, the game has been out for almost 4 weeks now.

question about empress cs. im not sure if its this style or something but uhm for the movie aspect thing is 4:3 default for the original frame and 16:9 for arcade? for some reason when i play with 4:3 on original settings some movies have stuff cut out on them and 16:9 shows them. is it empress or are all styles like this? this video aspect thing confuses me ):

The movie aspect I'm pretty sure is another selection in the options.

All styles are like this.
Here is the analysis:

If you have a 4:3 TV and set the movie settings to 4:3.
(The movie will retain its original size, but the screen won't be large enough to show EVERYTHING)

If you have a 4:3 TV and set the movie settings to 16:9.
(The movie will be be shown in its entirety, however, the movie will be squeezed into the frame)

If you have a 16:9 TV and set the movie settings to 4:3.
(It would be just like a 4:3 on a 4:3 TV....only BIGGER)

If you have a 16:9 TV and set the movie settings to 16:9.
(The movie will retain it's original size and the movie will be shown in its entirety just like in the arcade)

ah well my tv can go 16:9 but since its a crappy lcd it stretches out the game so i play it on 4:3 so it would be best to leave it at 4:3 if i play on original frame and 4:3 settings?

If you're playing in 16:9 you should have arcade frame on and 16:9 movies on
