It SHOULD. There's 3 different versions (1 English vocals & 2 different JPN vocals). I'll have to see if anyone knows. Should be the same as REMINISCENCE which also had 3 versions. I'm assuming you hold Select & then spin the turntable in 1 direction for 1 JPN version & the other way for the other. I'll try it out later.

FINALLY, BAD MANIACS HAS BEEN UNLOCKED!!! Did the 2P non-battle trick for Standard, got AA on Shining Polaris (Kors K Mix) & then got it. I'll use the trick to see if I can get 3y3s OMES.

Also, playing Bad Maniacs is required to unlock the final lane cover (VJ Army's wiki says "pink (new songs) & white (revivals)", which is incorrect & needs to include "blue (preview songs)" or just say "every song on the Empress disk".

Hmmm, well, I can get one of the JPN versions (not the Shanadoo version that's also on the JPN DDRX & Furu-Furu Party) by just holding Select while selecting the song (I like to hold it until I can see the title of the song after the frame loads up. If it doesn't work, hold until it says "Ready!"). Didn't matter if I was spinning the turntable. I don't know how to get the 3rd version....Holding Start & Select/Start at the same time doesn't work. I can't think of any other method.

Oh, so it's only in DDR? Ah, that would explain why. VJ Army's wiki made it sound like there's 3 versions on Empress.

Hey, wanna play a fun game? It's called "spot the nearly invisible songlist on the back of the case". You might have to tilt the case, but you have to look REALLY hard. It's on there. I'd take a picture, but seeing as nobody on the internet has a powerful camera to take it showing, I doubt I'd be able to....

Is there a concrete way to unlock "The Trooper's Journey" lane?
I haven't been able to get that lane cover, and VJArmy Wiki says just to unlock a full archives mode gallery, and I've unlocked 3rd-HAPPY SKY.

Try getting every Music Select BGM as well. I think the only things in the customization I was missing when I got it was some other lane covers and all of the alternate voices (I did have 4th style complete in Archives mode though). I may or may not have played a song from every style (I only would have missed 2nd style if any).

Odd, I didn't have all the BGMs when I had unlocked it & I had only completed 3rd, 4th, 5th, & 10th Style in Archives (I unlocked it on Premium Best). I had all the voices unlocked, though.

& by "unlock", you mean "completed", right? Just wanna make sure.

The only way we're gonna know the true unlocks is for Konami to give in & post the unlock info on the special site.

Unlocked Bad Maniacs today; I'm a bit disappointed to be honest for all the work required for that ONE song.

I got the Trooper's Journey lane today; I THINK you have to Full Combo something on the Premium Best disc, or Hard Clear something on DJ Troopers or...something. It didn't seem related to Archives mode at all.

I thought Bad Maniacs was totally worth it. While the another is a bit beyond me currently, the hyper is much more fun than I expected.

Bad Maniacs may be worth it, but I wish they'd put something that wasn't featured in the location test that would end up becoming the regular OMES instead. (Grande Chien maybe?)

You do realize that the fact we got the OMES for a preview song by itself is completely ridiculous, right?

That would explain the ridiculous requirements to unlock it.

Need to play through the Anothers (well, the ones I can clear, so up to some 10s) on Premium Disc to see which ones have Black Anothers since I can now play the songs normally since I got all the pics.

They probably didn't know they were going to make Bad Maniacs an OMES when they first inserted it into EMP+PB CS (hey, it was on the location test and they probably wanted more Hardcore songs). After they decided they were going to make it an OMES in the finalized version of SIRIUS, it might have been too hard to replace the song data with another non-OMES song, so they just made the ability to unlock it harder.
