Minibump,

Does anyone know if Y&Co is Dead or Alive is a remix of any song, or if anyone has remixed it? I just heard a song on DIFM that sounded almost identicle to it, (same sounding synths, same "woo" turntable noise at the same pattern, same BPM).

BTW, I've noticed that adjusting vert-scroll on Happy Sky helps a lot with the timing issue... well, for me, anyway -- wasn't so much a timing issue as one of logistics, since I *thought* the timing was off by in reality, the red line was slightly lower than that I was used to....

IIDX 16 Empress CS is probably one of the best styles I've played. The song choice is good, the songs all have a fair difficulty, and the pink theme is not too bad.
Lets just hope that they make a version of SIRIUS for the Ps2.

BTW, doesn't anyone know a release date for SIRIUS CS? I've looked, but no luck. Or is there no release date yet?

They said Empress would be the last iidx on PS2, so if they're ever going to release Sirius CS, chances are it's going to be on the current gen consoles. Sirius CS has not been announced so far btw.

Gee, thats a let down.

But I don't blame them. PS2s are hardly played now, I only use mine for IIDX.
That should make new games for the more popular consoles, like PS3.
If you know me, the I'll be sure to buy a PS3 when SIRIUS comes out.

Welcome to 6 months ago. I guess you didn't realize that EMPRESS is the last PS2 release for IIDX.

As it's been posted way too many times: There is no certain time whether SIRIUS is gonna be released for the CS version.

If newest Bemani games will pop up on current gen consoles what`s gonna happens with controllers?
Wireless connection (ps3, xbox360) is sure have a lags as well as USB connestion (ps3, xbox360).
So stopping support PS2 is a bad idea, besides the Japan players is using it very much this days - take a look at a Yahoo Japan auctions, all bemani games are selling away with pretty descent prices and used consoles are not cheap. So what the meaning of not to release new Bemani on PS2 if customers wants it and ready to pay full price?

If beatmaniaIIDX 17 SIRIUS CS was 200,000 YEN, I would still buy it even if it was somehow released for PS2. I wish for SIRIUS CS....we really won't know anything until after beatmaniaIIDX 18 RESORT ANTHEM AC is fully/near fully unlocked, which won't be until sometime near the end of this year. We can only hope for SIRIUS CS....Onegai KOJ-sama onegaishimasu! >_<;;;;;

I, like many others, would like a continued production of CS'es. Konami can definitely do it, and it might be worth it if they can release previous style's songs as DLC, and the relative ease of playing imports on the PS3 (and 360) means it wil lbe more accessible.

I'm not a mod, so I can't do anything from this thread going off topic...

IMO, I think Konami is going to skip CS for IIDX 17, 18, and 19. When IIDX 20 comes out, it might be HD for their 20th game anniversary and will release a cs version, maybe a IIDX controller that calibrates lag (like rock band 2's guitar) and will include Sirius, RA, and Lincle debuts plus a best of collection much like Empress's. I just hope they won't call it beatmania IIDX XX: The Final Score. Would be terrible considering I'm barley getting into this game!

They'll release Sirius CS for PS3 just in time for the launch of the PS4. And thus, the cycle will begin anew.
