Beatmania iidx 17 Sirius, help?

So I`m a beatmania player, for like 3/4 of a year now probably. I played beatmania via PS2 and a controller bought offa the interwebs. I find myself in japan at the moment for a year or so(Yay for beatmania iidx 17 coming out in arcade!). I`m new to playing on arcade version as they`re are no machines in Canada (where I come form). I bought an e-amusement card and popped it into the machine and set up my pin and all that. But apparently if you wanna customize your game and really have full access to the game you have to have an online ID or like DJ info or something. I don`t know how to do this! I`ve checked on a few web-sites but they`ve all been in Japanese and I can only read so much Kanji so it has been unhelpful. Can someone please tell me what I have to go through to be able to customize my profile on the game. So far buying the card has only given access to a personal profile page but it only stores information and such .I think. Can someone please inform me! sorry for my ignorance on the subject 0-o

Unless you have a cellphone to access Konami DX, then there's no chance of you getting any customizations/rival data. :p

THE HORROR, well I'm going to get one at some point, what would I have to do from then?

1) register a Konami Net DX account
2) link your e-amusement pass to your Konami Net DX account online
3) sign up for Konami Net DX on your phone (~300 yen a month IIRC)
4) sign in on your phone, using your account, and navigate to the beatmania IIDX section

That is the general process. I don't remember the specifics well enough to give step by step instructions though.
