The Beatmania IIDX rating discrepancies thread

Hey everyone I decided to make this thread because I feel that some ratings in IIDX are off. Of course these are just opinions and this thread is soley made for everyone that feels that the ratings are off. IMO I think that Go Berserk[H] should be an 11*. The same goes for In the Sky[A], I think that should be a hard 10 or easy 11. what do you guys think about some of the songs in IIDX?

Yes their are songs that are "off" in all music games, not just beatmania.

BTW I think E-motion 2003 - romantic mix is a little difficult for a 6

Go Berzerk and Genocide [7] need to be 11's. Fake Time needs to be moved back from an 11 to a 12 again.

last time i checked Go Berzerk 7 keys was an 11 but you are right about in the sky [a] it should be like a hard 11 or maybe a middle 11, with practice i could probably AAA in the sky [a]

Oh damn, why'd they have to do that? I still get kicks watching my friends consistently pass 4s and 5s and INORI would be there making them feel ridiculously inferior...hell I remember I had that same problem starting out with CS RED.

What? There's no way that Giga should be bumped up to a 9. It isn't that hard if you have your scratches nailed down.

anyway, in my opinion D.A.N.C.E.! [a] should definately be moved down to a 9. I agree Fake Time [h] should be a 12. Also, Genocide [h] isn't really a 10 IMO. More like an 11 to me. Maybe it's because I'm not the greatest with scratches, but it's pretty hard for a 10.

My only thing about GENOCIDE (hyper & another) is that the ending gives you ridiculous recovery, so much that you can even have 2% before the last quarter of the song and still pass it, ask rmz about it, hahahaha

That's why double thrash (another) got downgraded from an 11 to a 10. Or why Watch Out!!! (another) is still a 9 rather than a 10.

A couple more discrepancies:

...and I second the notion for TRANOID (another) to be an 11.

The only ones I can think of offhand are Everyday Lovelyday 7K (a rock-solid 7), Rislim 7K (the rolls aren't that painful; I'd give it a 6), 100% Minimoo-G Another (nowhere near what I'd call murderous, at most a high 9), and Red Nikita 7K (maddening speed, 8 all the way).

As for Inori L7, not a 3, absolutely not a 6 either. Yeah, there are 701 notes...spread over two and a half minutes. At least 90% of it is incredibly routine 4-note patterns. I can FC this in my sleep. A stone cold dead set straight-down-the-chute 4.

I think minimoo-G's another is fitting with an 11. Because that ending can make or break you. Nor is it random friendly.

It would be pretty sweet if they brought back the flashing forbidden rating. Mei[A] would definitaly take the cake for a flashing 12
