Thanks to ZIV for the heads up:
beatmania IIDX -SUPER BEST BOX- - ¥³¥Ê¥ß¥¹¥¿¥¤¥ë

Two boxsets with tracks from the first IIDX to DJT, each set will have 200 tracks across 8 CDs, totalling nearly 500 tracks. From what I can gather the special CD will contain SIRIUS tracks.

I recall Ashura96 asking for another best-of set like History of IIDX, well, here's his wish.

This also announces the 2nd Roots26 drama CD, which you can get as a deluxes set with this.

Will that special CD also have CS-exclusive songs?

EDIT: Apparently they contain every song from 1st to DJT featured in SIRIUS AC.

I find it weird that Yabis Startlight long version is featured in the OST though, and it's short counterpart is absent.

This sucks. I just spent a lot of time trudging through old songs on premium best for bad maniacs, why would I want to do it again for a few new songs? Thanks, but no thanks Konami

You do know this is a CD box set and not a Game right? Either way You make it sound as if playing/listening to old songs is almost torture

That's my dream.

I dunno though, I'm not very excited for this. I mean, it's great to have this massive collection of IIDX songs and it's probably a nice collector's item, but even most of the stuff on the bonus discs have been featured on some album somewhere. If I can land a job before Christmas, I'm picking this up though. Just to say I have it.

Maybe the new songs will be sweet though.

This is pretty cool. As Pie-kun said, it's _not_ the most incredibly special thing they could have done, but it's still not that far from that.
Definately picking this up if I can, considering I don't have any actual CDs of IIDX, just a few select songs in 190.
