Plus, the entire songlist feels all over the place, whereas in Happy Sky or DJ Troopers, to me, the majority of songs seem to fit together.

So for me...
DD>DJT>Red>Gold>Happy Sky
And, there's a DDAC machine in South Florida along with a pop'n 13 and GFDM V2(?), so obviously the owner is IN THE KNOW. Try asking him/her about a DJT upgrade kit.

DJ TROOPERS > GOLD > 10th > RED > DistorteD > HAPPY SKY
DJ TROOPERS just seems to have a lot of genres covered that I really enjoy, and some great all around songs. There's a few losers, but not a lot, I find.

Which display device would you prefer or which one is better in your opinion:
DISPLAY TYPE A
or
DISPLAY TYPE B
Or is/are there any major difference(s) at all (beyond looks, weight, etc.)???
DISPLAY TYPE A VERSUS DISPLAY TYPE B

But what's even more amazing is that girl playing Drummania on the second B display picture.

Though, I believe that Type B will not have lag and display issues as the game itself recognizes the display. Since it does, then it should've already compensated for any of display's output capabilities (via MONITOR CHECK).
Or something like that.
Perhaps another advantage DISPLAY TYPE B would have is weight.
As you know with customs bureaus/agencies, they charge shipments by weight. So if you're buying a whole machine, getting DISPLAY TYPE B would be more advantageous as you won't get charged so much in customs..................and it's newer (for people who believe in "newer is better" principle )
Of course, DISPLAY TYPE A will be cheaper in unit price...........and as well as shinier (for those who like aluminum finish that sparkles.....or something)
Otherwise, if TYPE B was shitty, then 1048 wouldn't have been able to AAA FC Oratio [a] on it. Quote:

In fact, I saw this girl who's even better than me. Playing Rolling1000toon and FCing it plus doing some routines on Tamayura adv. and all of the Ai Suzuki songs ALL CLEARED. Also saw her playing Purple Storm Extreme and clearing it.
You can see her often when you go to arcades along Carnavron Road (beside MTR Kowloon station exit A2). Other than that, most of them are in VZ......or in some place in Yau Ma Tei.
But yeah,
Just like Japan, female drum game players are quite common in HK too.

GOLD > DJT > 10th > DD
Also, LCD screen is much better, and would probably be better for seeing notes and such :P

However, I did ask the Hong Kong peeps and they said that the Display Type is already predefined by MONITOR CHECK (V-sync checker)......and cannot be edited (like what you do in HS or DD for the PS2)
Who knows, I guess we have to wait till we get our own machine to find out.
