Lolz, I just read about this when Sir rmz updated the sticky thread. Well in any case, haha, I really never expected that (though same goes for my reaction to any crossover from GFDM that is being carried over to BM IIDX).

Still, it should be something interesting nonetheless

Also, it was expected that they'd bring back Shining Polaris (since there is a remix of it on Empress songlist) but I find it neat cause I don't have any old versions (pre 9th) and BMUS. So yup, it's great that I can try this song for the first time (as a BM IIDX song)

Uhhhh, I think I might know the reason why Pink Rose & Foundation of our Love got removed & was replaced by those two other songs.

Both songs also got removed from Pop'n 18 (plus all the other Kiyommy+Seiya songs), & from what I've heard, it might have something to do w/ vocalist licensing issues.

It's too bad that Pink Rose had to be taken out. Granted, they should've used the KBM version instead (when they first ported this song to other BEMANI games a few years ago) as that song had the better vocals IMHO. Oh well, I guess we can't do anything about that.

However, for Foundation of our love, I wouldn't give a rat's ass if it was taken out. Vocals are horrible (and was probably one my least played songs when I still had my 8th style PS2 game with me). Only plus for it was its super easy another chart...........yet then again, it's a moot point for there are other songs out there with easy (if not easier) another charts as well such as Doll [a] and other stuff.

Anyways, this release is really starting to hype up. That and given that it is the last release of the game under the PS2 platform, it looks like Konami is putting out all the stops to make this the best and most memorable PS2 version release of BM IIDX ever.

Just my two cents there

I'm guessing the SIRIUS song would be either RBFMJ or bloomin' feeling though. They were pretty much like how THE DEEP STRIKER was in the DJT loc tests.

Just a thought - if they were to include a Sirius song that has hold notes and backscratches, wouldn't that require a rewrite of the game engine? Pure speculation, of course.

Also to note, I'm pretty sure this is the first time a Sasaki song for CS IIDX has been revealed before any unlocks. While it could still be an unlock, that does leave room for his only other Encore song, Timepiece phase II, which would be pretty awesome.

And DJ Troopers CS did have at least one CS-exclusive song from each of the other three major series (DDR: Saturn, Pluto, Pop'n: fffff, GF/DM: Children's Sketchbook), so what's to say we don't have something similar happen? Saber Wing and Toy Contemporary on IIDX? Yes please.
