The theme looks pretty cool, it's a nice change since DJT, Konami is thinking in the DJ girls ^^.

And the songlist, excellent!!

IIRC, a site has it listed as November. I forget which one it is though.

Oh right

I completely forgot about that (that this game comes out on Q4 of this year).

Time does really fly fast.

Indeed it is coming out before the year ends (for Japan*).

*Asian version will come out only after 6 months of the Japan release.

Um. it's just an arcade machine with a monitor strapped to it? Also, it's not like they have to make 2 million of them or something.

They re-use 90% of their code every release. It's not difficult to add a new coat of paint with some neat eye candy with audio. Most of the development time probably comes from the musicians composing their tracks and making the videos/note charts for them.

Not really

All of the stuff comes from Japan.

In fact, I haven't seen any BM IIDX cabinet (from Konami) that is made outside Japan

Heck, the newer cabs that we get here in Asia are also from Japan

Also

There is not a whole lot to add since the basic structure of the game is still there.

Apart from the few things to be added (such as new songs, new charts, graphics, interface, music and stuff), everything is already there.

Besides, it's not like Konami is creating a whole new game from scratch.

Remember, it's a whole new version, not a whole new game

The same principle also applies when applying the game to the home version.

M-Project stated on his Twitter that it's coming out Mid-November, so sometime then. I can't wait.

Oops

I thought you were.

Sorry bout that.

Though in any case

It still helps those who are not yet familiar with the manufacture of these machines.

So I guess it's kinda okay (I think)

I wonder how the arcade machine is going to be like. I can imagine a bunch of guys surrounding a person playing a completely pink box. lawl.

Anyways, I'm completely psyched for the release of this. Can't wait to try out some new songs D:

I'd be lying if I said I didn't hope for girls to start moving to the IIDX side of the world instead of sticking so much to DDR and fitness.
