DOMINION sounds cool as far as I can tell but the audio quality is too horrible to tell for sure

Who knows really.

Yet then again, this is just a location test (which means this is not even close to a fully-finalized songlist). Perhaps we'll see easier difficulties of songs once the final version comes out. Anyways, as long as there are 9s and 10s available, then that's fine with me.

I bet they're gonna dumb down some of those difficulties when the full game comes out.

They do that. The Deep Striker [A] during the Troopers loc test had 1700 notes. (We got that chart on CS with the [b] chart.)

I'm surprised that so many harder songs are being shown off at the test location; doesn't Konami typically showcase mostly easy songs with a few 10 hypers/maybe 1 or 2 11 anothers just as teasers?

Well there is an unused "level 13" announcer voice from DD AC that apparently Konami never bothered to remove (although it was never rerecorded with any of the later announcers)

DJT CS has "Level 13" sounds of the default announcer and the Mitsuru announcer.

That's probably because Konami had changed the difficulty scale for each version after 9th.

EDIT: DD AC and DJT CS were also times when IIDX was getting significantly harder (or at least started catering to better players)

With no pun intended, it seems like they really are getting serious with this style. So far, that's a lot of 11s.

But anyway, I don't think DJ Mass MAD Izm* has the ability to disappoint. I'm already in love with Red, by Full Metal Jacket.

If 13s were added, some of the current 12s would most likely become 13s.
