Finally finished building my new room in the basement! Just have to get my Star Wars and Crystal Method posters framed and I'll have something more exciting than bare white walls. A few more things need to be done also, like the window (that you can see in the pictures) needs to be framed in. That's the last big thing, then mostly little stuff. ANYWAY, here's my setup:


The setup from further away, get a view of everything.


When looking straight at the TV from the futon.


The best view I could get of the futon and all of the computer crap due to the wall behind me.


The rack of all the video games.


Bottem part of the TV stand, has the amp and the majority of the gaming systems.


The TV up a little closer. It's a 32 inch flat-screen APEX, and I love it. Got it pretty cheap at the time in comparision to the other flat-screens out there. Has lots of inputs, which is always nice.


That's the whole setup. I know some weren't completely IIDX-geared, but just happy I got my new room and wanted to show it off. ^__^

First post here; been a long time lurker in the IIDX homemade ASC thread.


My IIDX controller that I made (took 2 days to build and about $50 in parts) and my headphones that I use it with, Audio-Technica ATH-A900's connected straight to the HDTV.




Here's a wide shot of my gaming corner of my apartment (hooray college).




And here's a shot of my console collection, part of it at least. The TV is a Samsung 27" 4:3 HDTV that I got in 2003 for about $400 at Best Buy. Since then it has broken about 4 times, but now for some reason it's back in perfect working order. It can kinda do 1080i, but it looks all distorted because of major geometry problems; I'm not going to get another Samsung TV in the future.

I play IIDX on it through the component cables and see no noticable lag compared to s-video or composite cables.
