Default BM3 controls on BM1 hardware?

Late for work so I'll be brief:

Firebeat hardware for my BM3 cabinet is looking to be astronomically expensive.

Getting a BM1 mainboard with a The Final kit and what looks like another board (I/O?) is more reasonable.

Is there any reason that I WOULD NOT, under any circumstances, be able to rewire the BM3 controls to work with the BM1 kit?

Also, would the power supply from a BM3 cabinet power this board?

Thanks.

You will definatly be able to convert a BM3 cab into a BM1 cab, but only use completely BM1 hardware (mainboard, psu etc.) Don't mix up hardware. The control panels should run off the same voltage, as they only have a few LED's to run. But yeah, don't use a BM3 power supply with a BM1 mainboard or whatever .
