Hello Everyone!! This is my first time posting on this message board (noob...), but anyway, here goes. Currently, I only have two CS releases of IIDX (10th Style and Red, and LOVE them both). The songs I constantly play a lot are: (I'm going to split songs between the two mixes):

10th Style:

Silvia Drive (Puts a smile to my face every time I play it. Best Happy Song Ever!!!)

This is just a small list of some of my favorite songs from these two mixes. There are more I play as well, but these are the ones that popped in my mind right now.

This is are my favorite songs. What's yours?

BTW, I planning on buying some older mixes of the CS mixes. Which ones would you recommend? Also, I've only been playing the CS mixes of IIDX since May so I'm still really new to IIDX (though I have been playing beatmania emulators for a while).

Anyways, older styles?

I'd say pick up the older styles in this priority. You're gonna find a lot of differing opinion on this topic.

1 - 9th (Probably the most varied and unique songlists ever)
2 - 7th (Great variety of songs across many styles and good licenses)
3 - 3rd (Most of this stuff hasn't been repeated like Gentle Stress. Plus, classic
licenses like m-flo)
4 - 8th (Thunder is on this one. Need any more reasons?)
5 - 4th (Mostly repeated later, but the Dance Express licenses, Beatmania III transfers, SMALL WAVES, Sweet Lab, and Final Count Down are the reason to get this one)
6 - 6th (Most of it's best stuff has been repeated. A few licenses like JUST DO IT, YESTERDAY, and NIGHT OF FIRE are good enough to justify it though)
7 - 5th (Almost everything except Virtual Mind, Deadline and a few other CS exclusives have been repeated on newer styles)

Hi, welcome to the board.

The first half of your post is basically asking about which songs are favorites. That's fine but this subforum is more suited to that "discussion".

As to your second question, just try to get whatever you can find cheapest and work from there.
