I use my hands... hehe... sadly its one of those things that you really need to just hammer through yourself till you get it down yourself man... everyone has their own style... and for the record... how good are you...

i'm only 2nd kyu
usually when in see a chord like 3+4 come down the screen, i smash the keys and miss the next few notes

p.s. would any of you guys consider me a fast learner since i'm at 2nd kyu and i've only been playing for a month?

how is this question relevant? the only thing i see from this question is you just seeking some randomass attention.

if you can't hit those notes yet and are asking questions about it, what i think is that you haven't spent enough time yourself practicing hitting those notes, or any of them you've listed. i guess if you really were a fast learner, you'd have covered those already.

Just Play A L7 for awhile in the beginning, in training mode.

Then do it on Hyper (7k).

Then Another.

Personally, I use my left thumb and left pointer for 1+2 hits.
Left thumb, right middle finger, and right pinky for 1+4+7 hits *but this changes depending on speed of the song*
and usually right ring and right pinky for 6+7's.

I remember sucking at the chords in skyscraper. 6th Style has this drill mode for them. I kept playing it this one day, and when I woke up the next day it was no problem.

So the above post's advice is decent. Play A in training mode and DON'T GET DISCOURAGED because the next day who knows what is in store. Or skyscraper. 6th Style GOOD.

Playing for a month nonstop...I'd assume the average player to be higher than 2kyu, but that's just me. Playing a month in a sparingly can really go either way. It's important to not skimp around during your first months (or longer) playing the game, if your desire is to get better.

And when you get bored with doing A over and over, do it on Random

Bitmania is good for chord practice if you have 8th

Theres VERY little advice that hasnt been handed out in every other similar thread. ALL you can do is keep playing. Same as guitars and piano and tamborines and saxaphones, harps whatever.
You just gotta practice and you will get the hang of it eventually. One month playing and youre 2nd Kyu? Did you play twice a week for an hour (in which case your doing ok) or did you play everyday for 10 hours? Its not about how long you been playing its all about how much you play

Actually there is a piece of advice sorry. get a good tv and jack up the contrast so its easy to distinguish blue and white. At your level, when those combos come up try using right hand for blue and left for white. For staircases, actually are there staircases in 3rd Kyu?
