Is there anyway (Red or HS or both) to have the score graph translucent. I've seen it in the arcade before, but I'm curious as to whether or not it's available for the CS versions.
"Translucent"?

Yes,

In some tatsujin's I've seen the score graph translucent. You could see the video playing behind it and it only had the bars. No backdrop behind the status bar.
I'll try and see if I can find an example. For some reason it's difficult for me to explain, which it shouldn't be lol. Just having trouble finding the right wording.

Ok found one.

YouTube - Class7 - beatmania IIDX CS12 (cleared)

But, it's played on Original not Arcade, so that might explain why.

I understand what you're referring to with the home versions, but that feature does not exist on the arcade versions. The graphs are never overlaid over the video in the arcade version.

For the home versions, tap Select twice.

I figured I would ask here since this thread's about controllers and such. I have a US Koc and I did the slipmat mod. I have been playing on it since it came out (not too heavy; moderate play). I noticed that there is shit rattling around in the part where the keys are--sounds like screws or something. I have not opened this part of the conty up (the keys), just the turntable part for the slipmat. What the hell is making all that racket? I am just going to open it up and have a looksie, but I was thinking you folks would know what it probably is. Only reason I found out about it is that I disconnected the keys part to unstick key 1 and when I flipped it upside down the thing sounded like a freaking rain stick or something

The US controllers' keys have "feet" on the bottom four corners of each button, to try and prevent the keys from depressing far enough to get stuck on the casing. These small "feet" tend to sometimes break off. Pretty sure one of those small feet bouncing around is the noise you are hearing. If your controller is still working fine without any sticky keys, then don't worry too much about it.

Hmmm, it sounds more like 10 of them are bouncing around in there....but the controller is indeed working without a hitch, so I guess I am good for now. Thanks for the reply

Will non-stick cooking parchment paper work in place of wax paper mod?

Just modded my controller. WOW TT is so much easier now, apparently I had wax paper anyways. Buttons are noticeably more responsive. Awesome mods.

Word of caution: if the top or bottom side of the controller's buttons has both feet broken, your USKOC will stick. Proof you may ask...well:

I already broken down the controller, so it feels as close to the JKOC. With a little use of the cardboard box mod, it works like a charm.

Does anyone have any ideas for putting something on your turntable to get a better grip on it? I go to move the turntable and my pinky just slides right off it quite a bit. I've tried pressing my pinky down and moving the turntable, but it still happens way too often.

I know just what you mean even when your hands get sweaty *gross!*
I'd say sand paper, but thats obviously out of the question . Maybe a rubber mat?

I seen some videos of DOLCE playing on a IIDX arcade machine with the turntable outlined with gaffers tape, though I don't want to try it because it might leave stains on my controller.

Quick question about EX scores. P-Greats are worth 2 and Greats are worth one. Gotcha. So does this mean that a "good" is just as bad as a total miss?
