Well, I'm almost pretty sure that the majority of the people that play on the 2p side have been playing Beatmania since 5 key, when both player sides had the TT on the right. Yeah, you could enable Center Play and have the TT on the left but it was really uncomfortable and far.

That's just my experience with the whole thing. I think some of the long time IIDX'ers will agree.

But is it possible to mod a jp beatmania IIDX Controller(the regular one not the ASC)
with sanwa buttons?

The USKOC already makes its mark on performance by minimizing occurrences of sticky keys (which this new design eliminates)

I guess it's better to leave it as it is.

Still

If it can't be helped, then perhaps..........you could play a bit softer(?)

Or offset it by increasing the volume of your TV.

Just a few suggestions (if that helps or anything)

The thing is, it's just extremely loud for some reason, probably because back when I was a noob I would beat the keys in frustration, but still, I would think that a quiet key mod could work for a USKOC

Get a JKOC and forego the USKOC quiet mod entirely.

Seriously, I've been beating on the same jkoc for the past 3 months every day multiple hours a day.

No sticky key since I modded it the first time.

Well...in my defense I haven't used a JKOC since before US IIDX came out.. and didn't even use that for long, as I invested in a Dao.

BUT when I did mod my JKOC w/ cardboard it lasted for a few months before I had to replace the cardboard. So, yes JKOC>USKOC in most ways. Well actually in all ways if it's modded right.

Yeah I didn't use a JKOC until 6 months after BMUS came out, because I had USKOCs and they're total shit.

But yeah my Dao PE sees alot of abuse most of the time, however I haven't been using it that much since I've been focusing on beating Mei [A] :<

I have the hardest time going from ASC to KOC, I can't do it. Once I get used to one, it takes forever to adjust to the other.

You'll get the right random eventually. I've gotten a few that made the ending extremely easy.

I don't play mei on random. :<

I've gotten too used to the non-random ending that I start stroking out when I see the random charts.

And yeah, the only thing that's even doable for me on that song is the ending.
